Traditional Wet ESPs (wet electrostatic precipitators) remove dust particles effectively but can’t be operated continuously for a long time during the wet washing process. The novel WEP has been developed to enhance the collection efficiency without having to shut down the power supply during wet cleaning of collection electrodes with minimum water consumption. Two core technologies are used: One is the PJWF (pulse-air-jet-assisted-water flow), which is injected tangentially at the wall to increase the water velocity for the effective removal of the deposited dust cake. Another is a high frequency power supply with 25 kHz frequency for iGBT current control with Arc shut down time of 0.03 ms.
